How your work gets built, checked and measured.
You should know exactly what you're paying for and how it's done. Every piece of work follows written procedures, passes the same checklist and is measured against the results you care about. Here's what that looks like, and what we will never do.
Who does the work
I lead every client. I set the strategy, make the recommendations and review every page before it goes live. As Glasshouse grows, trained team members help with the hands-on work, like building pages and cleaning up listings. Anyone who works on your business:
Passes a paid test first
Before touching a client account, every team member completes the same graded test project. Anyone who invents a fact fails, whatever their score.
Follows written procedures
Every task has written steps, so the work comes out the same way each time, whoever does it.
Signs a confidentiality agreement
Your information, logins and plans stay private, and the work belongs to you once it's paid for.
How every page is built
Every service or location page uses the same proven structure, so people and search engines can understand it at a glance:
- A headline that says what you do and where, the way customers search for it, not a slogan.
- A direct answer right under it: what you offer, for whom, where, and how to book.
- What's included and the steps, in plain language.
- Local proof: the neighborhoods you serve, real reviews, licenses and years in business.
- What to expect, from the first call to payment.
- Answers to the questions your customers actually ask.
- One clear next step, at the top and bottom.
Every fact on the page comes from you. Anything we can't confirm, we ask you about before it goes live. See the full method in the guide to writing a service page that ranks.
The checklist every page passes
- Headline, title and description written and the right length
- Every fact matches the details you approved
- No invented reviews, prices, guarantees, awards or statistics
- Structured data checked for errors
- Every link works
- Reads well on a phone
- Spelling and grammar checked
- Reviewed by me before it goes live
What we will never do
Some tactics get quick results and put your business at risk. We don't use them, even when asked.
- Write fake reviews or testimonials, or pay for reviews
- Ask only happy customers for reviews (review gating)
- Buy links or join link schemes
- Stuff keywords into your business name or pages
- Publish claims you can't back up, like guarantees or "best in town"
- Copy competitors' content or swap city names into duplicate pages
- Make health outcome or recovery-time claims for health businesses
- Promise rankings. No one can honestly guarantee them.
These match Google's spam and review policies and the FTC's rule on fake reviews. You can read more in the guide to getting more reviews the right way.
Your accounts and your data
- You own everything: your domain, your site, your Google Business Profile and every account.
- We work inside your accounts as added users, so you can remove access at any time.
- Logins are never sent by email or text. They stay in a secure password manager.
- If you ever leave, you get your files and logins within 14 days.
For health businesses
- We never collect, store or publish patient, health or injury information about anyone.
- Review replies never confirm that someone is a patient.
- Only insurance and payment wording you've approved in writing goes on your site.
- No outcome promises, recovery timelines or "specialist" claims.
How we report
At kickoff we agree on the two or three numbers that matter most to your business and record where they are today. Each month you get a short report that leads with those numbers, then what the month cost and what came back, what was done, anything that should stop, and one clear recommendation.
If something isn't earning its keep, we say so and move the effort somewhere that will.
