Glasshouse helps local business owners get found on Google, Maps and AI search, and grow. I'm looking for independent freelancers who care about doing the work right: clear, honest, and measured by what it does for the owner.
The kind of work
You'd work on real local businesses, from barbershops to chiropractic practices, following written procedures. I handle the client relationship, strategy and final review.
Listings and Google profiles
Monthly Google Business Profile upkeep, listings cleanup across Google, Apple, Bing, Yelp and Facebook, and new directory listings.
Pages and technical setup
Service and location pages built to a set structure, site migrations, schema, sitemaps, Search Console and analytics setup.
Audits, AI checks and reports
The 20-minute visibility audit, monthly AI visibility checks, Search Console refreshes, and first drafts of client reports.
Spanish-language skills are a plus. Several clients serve Spanish-speaking customers.
How it works
- Apply below. Tell me what you're good at and show a little of your work.
- Paid test project. If it looks like a fit, you complete a short two-part test: one site audit and one service page. It's paid at a flat $150 whether or not we go on to work together.
- First work order. Pass the test and you get one real task at the normal rate, with my review on everything.
- Ongoing work. After a few work orders that pass review, you work more independently with spot checks.
What you can expect
- Flat rates per task, agreed in writing on each work order, not hourly guesswork.
- Paid monthly for accepted work, by invoice.
- Written procedures and a checklist for every task, so you know exactly what "done" means.
- Accept or decline any work order. You set your own hours and use your own tools.
- Direct feedback from me, not a ticket system.
Who this is for

- You know your way around Google Business Profile, WordPress or static sites, or Search Console
- You can work from written steps and hit agreed deadlines
Not a fit
- Anyone who buys links, writes fake reviews or stuffs keywords
- Anyone who'd rather guess than ask
- Anyone looking for a full-time job or a fixed schedule. This is independent contract work.
Everyone who works on client accounts signs an independent contractor agreement with confidentiality terms, works only inside client-approved accounts, and never handles patient or health information. Read the standards your work will meet.
